Fair Use

The Manor House & Golf Club Fair Usage Policy is in place to ensure that Wireless Internet speed and reliability are maintained for all users. It is commonplace for people to use Peer to Peer (p2p) or file sharing software which commonly sends and receives large amounts of data. This type of activity inherently uses a lot of bandwidth and can adversely affect WiFi service for everyone. It may also be possible for users to obtain unauthorised access to our WiFi service. For these reasons we require that anyone wishing to use our free service must request a password from a member of staff. It is only through this method, that your access is "authorised" and we kindly ask that you keep this password to yourself. The WiFi access password will change at random occurrences to avoid the exploitation of the network. If you have used our WiFi service before and find that upon your return you no longer have access to the network, then you will have to request another password from a member of staff.

Notice

Please be advised, it is at the discretion of staff members to provide you with a password. We do not and cannot monitor your private Wireless Internet browsing, however if you are found to be using the network for obscene or illegal use, your service will be permanently blocked.

The Manor House & Golf Club do not accept responsibility for any loss or corruption of data or otherwise negative impact on your personal computer while on the premises.
